Anyone who wants to start a micro, small and medium enterprise can register for udyam online in the udyam registration portal, based on self declaration with no requirement to upload documents, papers, certificates and proof.

On registration, an enterprise is assigned a permanent identity number to be known as udyam registration number.

An electronic certificate, namely, udyam registration certificate shall be issued on completion of the registration process.

What is udyog aadhaar?

Aadhar for business is also known as udyog aadhar. It is a 12 digit official identification number issued by the ministry of micro, small and medium enterprise for all small and medium enterprise and small scale industries. These business entities are registered through this process as micro, small and medium enterprise with their aadhar card number.

Difference between udyog aadhaar, micro, small and medium enterprise and small scale industry.

Before udyog aadhar used to be referred to as micro, small and medium enterprise registration. Now, the whole process of obtaining micro, small and medium enterprise registration is converted to udyog aadhar registration.

Small scale industry against micro, small and medium enterprise. There is no specific difference between small scale industry and micro, small and medium enterprise. Small scale industry was initiated along with the emergence of micro small and medium enterprise development act, 2006 to develop the small scale industry.

The national electronic governance service limited will send a link to those medium small enterprise for logging into the national electronic governance service limited service unit and puffing their respective digital signature attesting the information on the samadhaan.

The national electronic governance service limited will upload the copy of unpaid invoices and put pressure on the companies to make the payments. Guidelines for filing aadhaar udyog form.

Firstly aadhaar number.12 digit aadhaar number of the applicant is mandatory.

Secondly name of the owner. The applicant should fill in his name strictly as mentioned on the aadhaar card issued by the unique identification authority of india. For example if raj pal singh has his name as raj p singh, the same should accordingly be entered if the name does not match with the aadhar number, the applicant will not be able to fill the form further.

To validate aadhar.

Validate aadhar. The applicant must click on validate aadhaar button for verification of aadhaar after that only user can fill the form further.

The reset. The applicant can use the reset option to clear the aadhaar number and owner name fields for each aadhaar.

Sixthly name of the enterprise. The applicant must fill in the name by which his enterprise is known to the customers and is a legal entity to conduct business. A single applicant may operate multiple enterprise each of which must be registered separately for a separate udyog aadhaar and with the same aadhaar number as enterprise one and enterprise two. The same aadhaar number and business name can be added a second time. At the time of modification only extra details can be added and removed.

Seventhly type of organization. The applicant may select from the given list the appropriate type of the organization for his enterprise. The applicant must ensure that he is authorized by the legal entity to fill this online form. Each enterprise will receive only one udyog aadhaar number.

Eightly the permanent account number. In the case of co operative and private limited company and public limited company and limited liability partnerships the applicant must provide a permanent account number. In the remaining type of organization it will be optional.

Ninthly location of the plant. By pressing the add plant option the applicant can register for several plant locations in one registration.

Tenthly the official address. The applicant should enter the applicant complete postal address in the appropriate field enterprise including state and district and pin code and mobile number and email address.
